We intend for the gathering to be financially
self-sustaining, and ask registrants to pay based on a sliding scale – more
if you can afford it, less if you can not. We also want this event
to be accessible no matter what an individual fae's ability to pay.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you are hesitating
to register based of your finances, honey, just sign up – pay a little,
pay a lot, pay now, pay later…
scholarships may
be available
If you are feeling financially pinched, perhaps
you have time/energy to contribute to planning or pulling off the event
-- let us know you'd like to support the gathering thru a work commitment.
We are seeking a Pantry Diva to shepherd our larder thru the gathering.
We also are seeking a Vanna to organize the ‘silent auction raffle.'
Other ‘jobs' are available – ask us.
silent auction raffle
What? OK, here is how it works. Artists,
crafts people, beauticians, massage therapists, costume makers…anyone
with a good or service to donate is encouraged to do so. Items will
be displayed along with envelopes for raffle tickets. Buy as many
chances as you desire, and put tix in separate drawings for as many
items as you hope to win…see, it's easy. OK, we'll get Vanna to explain
it better on site. Please just consider donating a quality good
or service, and bring some cash or a checkbook to shop/donate, if
you can.

Scholarships and the overall financial health
of the gathering and the Kawashaway community is helped greatly by
contributions above the sliding scale reg fee. Please consider bumping
up your payment to support others.
